Our
housing programs assist families secure permanent housing.
We also provide
training and workshops to help first-time homebuyers achieve

neighborhood revitalization program, we offer new and

Mental disease can be a serious problem. Through our
programs, Westmoreland Community Action provides
mental health support for people and families through
telephone hotlines and face-to-face meetings. We provide
both short-term immediate help and longer term reintegration
services.

Sometimes emergencies arise where families can't pay their

Emergency Services include Energy Assistance, an Emergency

Employment Programs, WCA seeks to resolve barriers to
employment. Our goal is to help individuals find
employment through training, support and assistance.

Community Preventions Services of Westmoreland provides
Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drug prevention programs and
activities throughout the community. We also offer
Communities that Care in the Monessen School District.

Westmoreland Community Action
Financial Literacy Programs are
designed to help individuals and families learn how to save
money to improve their standard of living. Our Financial
Literacy program also includes a tax return preparation service
for qualified families.
