How YOU can Help Westmoreland Community Action
You can help Westmoreland Community Action through:
Donations
Cash donations are always welcome. But we can also
accept materials for Head Start or the Circles Campaign or
baskets for our basket auction at our Annual Wine Tasting.

Planned Giving
Planned giving applies to
each and every one of us. Someday our lives will end, and
our legacy must begin. Fortunately, we live in a time when
we have the opportunity to leave our mark on the generations to
come. Consider a trust, annuity or insurance as a gift that
enhances your legacy.

Volunteering
Volunteers are a driving force behind change. People
like you - people who want to make a difference -bring skills,
energy, and time to our programs and events. Distribute
food at our monthly Foodbank, read to children at a Head Start
Center, help with landscaping or painting at one of our
revitalization projects, or participate in one of our Special
Events.

Circles Campaign
The Circles Campaign is a strategy that changes the mind-set
of a community so that it wants to end poverty by changing
goals, policies, and approaches.
Westmoreland Community Action is beginning the Circles
Initiative in Jeannette and Monessen because these communities
have some of the higher incidences of poverty in Westmoreland
County.
